about

The only instructions were: make a piece of Drum & Bass inspired from a free jazz piece. Opening with the sparse plucking of double bass, Fanu builds up to a fast pace, funky track that steps up the intensity even more with a massive bass line. dgoHn takes Drum Funk to another realm with an improvised sound that feels effortless but contains countless layers and details. Ibunshi and Indidjinous took their set of techy basses, edits, and live didgeridoo to capture a twisting, growling session. Macc and dgoHn collaborated on the last piece which closes out nicely with an upbeat and mellow jazz vibe.

about

Pinecone Moonshine New Orleans, Louisiana
