about

Not Applicable's Icarus use bursts of the guitars, vocals, and bass of Outsider Blues and re-purpose them as inharmonic sounds and additional percussion only hinting at what the sounds once were. Vibrato, delays, distortion manipulate each sound building a dense layered arrangement. As the piece progresses, it unravels with excerpts of live drumming.

Fushara channels Eschaton's original piece through his use of repetition rebuilding the elements as an atmospheric Drum and Bass track. The mood has been lifted and the cold acid lines have been blended with new notes to create harmonies of contemplative tone.

Stripped back to just percussion, Indidjinous tests out the rhythm of The Small Things Matter before connecting the bass and other sounds. Less atmospheric than the original but similar in that is supplements the main drum beats with sound effects and fragments of samples. Hints of the original filter in to be abruptly pulled back out.

about

Pinecone Moonshine Portland, Oregon

Run by Nic TVG, Pinecone Moonshine is a collection of Drumfunk (drum and bass) and other abstract and ambient music.

See the neocities link below for the demo policy.

Majority of the tracks are melancholy collages of noise, heavily processed samples, and atmospherics driven by broken break beats and heavy sub. Free jazz, early electronics, blues, and funk are noticeable influences.
